I thought it'll be nice to have a deeper discussion on your blog posts here. I think the feedback will be valuable to you and it's also because my browser doesn't let me comment well on any Google's blogspot. But wow, that image looks really really good so far, it's not what I was expecting. It's much better than the one you put in your DA. The premise sounds interesting so far. Men from a carnival... it makes me think what sort of quirks do they have? With the premise, I assume one character will be very annoyed and insecure, seeing himself as a "freak." That's just something I would expect, but I do not expect you to write that. It's just something I would predict if I read a description like that. For the artwork, right now is the head looks awkward. It's at the top of his head where the hair, ears and jawline don't match up in the anatomy. I'm not sure but it seems the shading below his left side of his face makes him look a tad old. It sort of makes his skin look but it may just be the environment? But it seems that way to me. You should just polish those at least with the time you have since most people will notice and concentrate on the face when playing. =) Good luck!

Thanks! And thanks for the input too. ^-^ The carnival is kind of a mystical place; it will definitely be fun to play with while I'm writing up plotness. ^-^
I do want to make some slight alterations to the art piece at some point. He doesn't have normal ears; his are pointed, so the anatomy of those are going to be a little off. Is that what you meant? I was wondering if the poofy-ness of his hair might be contributing to the awkwardness of his head?

Oh, it's more about the jawline not lining up with the head. If you draw a circle to around his head and his left jaw (or all around), his head skeleton looks like someone took a bit off the top left, and I'm sure some people may notice it. That's why I brought it up. =3
And it's mostly at his left side. Adding more hair is probably the easiest solution.
For the ears, they're fine pointy. It's just that they're not aligned, one is higher than the other... And both seem a tad too high.

*nodnod* Ah, I gotcha. I will take an editing pen to it before the final game comes out. ^-^ Thanks for the tips!

I got his ears fixed! *dances* With that new tablet, I'm really confident the art in this game will be 10x better than what I have come up with before. ^-^ I start working on backgrounds this week, hopefully.

^-^ Thank you muchly! Sorry I don't have much else to say right now though. Next semester will be easier on me (presumably), so updates will become more frequent in the near future!

No need to explain ^_^ It's alright! I totally understand being busy. It was like that for me in college too.
